Shoulders are useful. When they hurt it's hard to get things done. Shoulders are also fairly complicated and subject to many different types of problems.

Many of these conditions respond well to conservative Chiropractic care. As specialists in neuromusculoskeletal disorders, we can evaluate and diagnose what is wrong and how to go about fixing the problem. Shoulder and arm problems are also frequently related to cervical spine problems. As Chiropractors, we address the whole body and not just the area that hurts— for optimal results.

Chronic Shoulder Pain and Restricted Motion
“I am a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. About 2 years ago, my shoulders started to hurt. During the next 6 months, I saw a variety of doctors and therapists and the ache in my shoulders grew worse; in fact, it began to spread down both arms. It was difficult to turn the steering wheel; it took two hands to hold a coffee cup; I no longer carried a shoulder bag; I often did not bring papers and/or notebooks to meetings because it was so hard to carry or lift anything; my arms and shoulders were in constant pain. I had to resign from volunteer activity. Eventually the military doctors said they could do nothing for me. The following week I went to Dr. Westbrook. After the first treatment, there was a significant improvement: My arms hurt less, and friends commented I looked less in pain. I am delighted to be able to carry a purse and all appropriate books and papers to meetings. I have been able to return to my former duties and volunteer activities.” — Jean
